Crumb rubber playground tiles up to 3 ˝” thick installed at the base of the equipment significantly reduce injuries , eliminate constant maintenance, and reduce the mold and bacteria associated with wood mulch.
The use of tire fuel chips in place of high sulphur coals can reduce emissions by up to 60%; increase BTU’s by 15% and save money due to lower cost. Each tire used as fuel eliminates the need for 2.5 gallons of fuel oil thus helping to reduce foreign imports.
